Leader's Hot Shooting Carries Westminster to Victory

Westminster opened a four-game home stand on Thursday night with a 78-72 win over Holy Names to conclude the opening day of the Westminster Basketball Festival. The 16th-ranked Griffins used a 15-4 run to open the game, but held on late for the victory. The win improves Westminster to a perfect 6-0 on the season while dropping Holy Names to 1-3.

Three Players Score 20 as Griffins Cruise

Westminster improved to 4-0 on the season thanks to a 100-47 win over Johnson & Wales on Thursday night. For the second consecutive game Westminster had three players reach 20 points and they cruised to a victory.

Record Setting Night for Griffins in Home Opener

Saturday night was the home opener for the Westminster Griffins, and they put on a show. Playing against a College of Idaho team that likes to play pressure defense and high tempo, Westminster took the challenge and cruised to a 109-84 win.
